The Women Techsters Fellowship Program 2025  is a free, 12-month intensive technology upskilling initiative designed to equip African girls and women (ages 16–40) with in-demand tech skills.

The program focuses on bridging the gender gap in technology and promoting equal opportunities for women in the digital ecosystem.

Program Details
The Women Techsters Fellowship is divided into two phases:

First 6 Months:
Virtual technical training across eight learning tracks:

• DevOps
• Cybersecurity
• Data Science and Engineering
• Mobile Application Development
• Product Design
• Product Management
• Software Development (Frontend & Backend)

Focus on technical and soft skills development.

Last 6 Months:

Hands-on practical experience through:

• Paid internships
• Freelancing opportunities
• Volunteering roles
• Entrepreneurship incubation
• Mentorship programs
  The program aims to create a generation of women equipped to thrive in the tech ecosystem.

  Eligibility Criteria

  To qualify for the Women Techsters Fellowship, applicants must:

• Be African girls or women aged 16–40.
• Reside in an African country.
  Be willing to dedicate time to the program.
• Demonstrate hard work, teamwork, and an interest in leveraging technology for their future.

The fellowship is highly competitive, admitting only the top 3% of applicants.

Program Duration

Total Duration: 1 year
First Phase: 6 months of online training.
Second Phase: 6 months of practical experience, including internships and business incubation.
