Job Summary
The BIT – Sales Program is created for young professionals who are ready to build a rewarding career in banking through strategic sales and customer engagement. It combines structured instruction with real-world experiences, grooming participants into high-performing sales professionals within Wema Bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft and implement effective sales plans to attract and retain customers.
- Establish and nurture long-term client relationships that drive business growth across deposits, lending, and other financial offerings.
- Analyze market trends and customer behavior to identify new business opportunities.
- Promote and sell the bank’s full range of products to existing and potential clients.
- Deliver outstanding service to improve customer experience and retention.
- Collaborate with experienced professionals and mentors to sharpen sales acumen and product knowledge.
- Consistently meet and exceed individual sales and revenue targets.
Eligibility Criteria
- We are in search of vibrant, target-driven individuals with a strong desire to grow within the financial sector.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Second Class Upper degree (or equivalent) in any discipline from a recognized university
- At least five credits (including English and Mathematics) in WAEC/NECO or equivalent examinations
- Maximum age: 26 years at the time of application
- Completion of NYSC with a valid discharge certificate

- Keen interest in sales, financial products, and customer relationship management
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical mindset and a problem-solving approach
