University of Toronto Mastercard Scholarships 2026  in Canada for Africans | Fully Funded

The University of Toronto Mastercard Scholarships 2026 is now open for applications. This fully funded program provides African students with the opportunity to pursue graduate studies at Canada’s top research university.

The scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation, living stipend, meals, laptop, airfare, and health insurance. In addition, scholars will gain access to leadership training, mentorship, and professional networks that prepare them to contribute meaningfully to Africa’s healthcare and development sectors.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the 2026 University of Toronto Mastercard Scholarship, applicants must:

• Be a citizen and resident of a Sub-Saharan African country.
• Demonstrate financial need within the lowest two income quintiles of their country.
• Show excellent academic performance in previous studies.
• Display leadership qualities and a history of community involvement.
• Intend to return to Africa after graduation to contribute to socioeconomic and healthcare development.
• Meet English language requirements (varies by country).
