The Federal Government of Nigeria has officially opened applications for the 2025 Presidential Amnesty Scholarship, Ā a fully funded opportunity designed to support formal undergraduate and postgraduate education at select universities within Nigeria.

This scholarship is part of the ongoing efforts of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP)Ā to reintegrate ex-agitators from the Niger Delta region through education and capacity building.

This scholarship specifically targets new students entering 100 level (for undergraduate) or fresh postgraduate candidates in Nigerian universities, with strict adherence to eligibility and academic performance requirements.

Ā Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the 2025 Presidential Amnesty Scholarship, Ā applicants must:

  1. Be indigenes of any of the nine recognized Niger Delta states.
  2. Hold a valid 2025 JAMB resultĀ (only this year’s result is accepted).
  3. Apply as fresh entrants into undergraduate or postgraduate programs.
  4. Present O’Level results (WAEC/NECO or both) with at least five credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
  5. Maintain a minimum CGPA ofĀ  2.5/5.0 (or 2.0/4.0) every session for undergraduates.
  6. Avoid involvement in any form of misconduct or violation of PAP guidelines.
Scholarship Benefits

Recipients will receive full financial sponsorship covering tuition fees, living expenses, and book allowances throughout their study period in selected Nigerian institutions. The program’s goal is to empower Niger Delta indigenes with quality education as a tool for personal and regional development.
