Lafarge Africa Plc is inviting applications for its 2025 Technical Skills Development Program (TSDP), a unique initiative designed to train and equip young Nigerians with hands-on technical expertise and employability skills.

The program runs for 18 months and offers participants intensive technical training, tuition-free lectures, practical sessions, and a monthly stipend to help cover personal expenses. At the end of the scheme, successful candidates will be awarded a Lafarge Internal Certificate.

About the Program

The Lafarge Technical Skills Development Program is tailored to Ordinary National Diploma (OND) holders who wish to build careers in key technical fields. Participants will undergo multi-skilled vocational training in the following areas:

• Maintenance Processes: Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation, Welding & Fabrication Technology
• Cement Manufacturing Processes: Production, Process, and Quality

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must:

• Hold an OND certificate from a recognized institution (not earlier than 2021).
• Possess a minimum of five O’level credits including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and one additional subject (in not more than two sittings).
