Joint Japan World Bank Scholarship 2025 (Fully Funded) – Round 2 Applications Open
Applications are now being accepted for the 2025 Joint Japan World Bank Scholarship (JJ/WBGSP), a fully funded opportunity for international students pursuing a Master’s degree.
The scholarship enables students to study at top universities across the U.S., Europe, Africa, Oceania, and Japan.
With 41 eligible Master’s programs offered at 24 renowned universities, applicants must secure an unconditional admission offer to be considered for this scholarship. The official application form will only be provided to candidates who have received admission into a participating program. Best of all, there are no application fees!

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be a citizen of a developing country
- Not hold dual citizenship with any developed country
- Be in good health
- Have earned a bachelor’s degree at least three years before applying
- Secure an unconditional admission offer from a participating university
- Possess at least three years of full-time, paid work experience in development-related fields
How to Apply
Prospective candidates must first apply for admission to an eligible Master’s program. Only those who receive an unconditional offer will be invited to apply for the World Bank Scholarship.
