The Industrial Training Fund (ITF), in collaboration with the Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA), has officially opened applications for the 2025 edition of the Technical Skills Development Programme (TSDP).
This 9-month intensive training programme is created to empower young Nigerian graduates with hands-on skills in key technical fields, including engineering, logistics, and quality assurance.

About the Training Programme
The programme which was launched through a strategic alliance between ITF, NECA, and Nigerian Breweries Plc, provides practical, industry-relevant training in the following disciplines:
- Mechanical/Automation Maintenance & Engineering
- Quality Assurance
- Logistics & Distribution
Since its inception in 2009, the initiative has helped develop a skilled workforce by offering intensive training that bridges the gap between academic knowledge and industry needs.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
General Requirements:
- Must have completed NYSC at the time of application
- Must have graduated not earlier than 2022
- Must have credit passes in English, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry
Academic Qualifications:
For Engineering/Mechatronics Roles:
Higher National Diploma (HND) in:
- Mechanical, Mechatronics,
- Electrical/Electronics, Industrial
- Maintenance, Metallurgical,
- Instrumentation, Automation, or
- Production Engineering
- Industrial Physics or Computer Engineering
Minimum grade: Lower Credit
For Quality Assurance & Logistics Roles:
National Diploma (ND) in:
- Chemical Engineering, Food Science Technology, Biological/Physical
- Sciences, Laboratory Science, or Applied Physics
Minimum grade: Lower Credit
Programme Benefits
Participants of the programme will receive:

Monthly stipend to support basic needs - Real-world experience through practical attachments at Nigerian Breweries locations across Ibadan, Lagos, Aba, Enugu, Ota, Kaduna, and Ijebu Ode
