About the Program
This assistantship is offered through the Digital Farming Lab under the leadership of Dr. Guillermo Balboa. The selected candidate will be actively involved in innovative research aimed at enhancing corn yield and nitrogen use efficiency (NUE) using cutting-edge digital agriculture tools.

Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0

Demonstrated experience in:

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and spatial data analysis

Crop modeling and agricultural production systems

Management of field trials and experiments

Data analysis and interpretation

Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
