About the Chevron Internship Program

This internship initiative aligns with Chevron’s support for the Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) and aims to nurture young Nigerian talent. The program is open to students pursuing undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees, both locally and internationally.

Chevron offers participants the opportunity to enhance their technical know-how, acquire new competencies, and operate within a professional workspace, building a strong foundation for future careers.

Eligibility Criteria for Chevron Internship 2025

For Undergraduate Applicants:

Must be Nigerian students (studying locally or abroad).
Must be actively enrolled in a program such as Bachelor’s, National Diploma, or Higher National Diploma.
The internship must be a mandatory part of the academic curriculum.

For Graduate Applicants:

Open to recent Nigerian graduates with a B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) from recognized institutions.
Must possess a Provisional License from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).

General Requirements:

A recommendation letter from the applicant’s institution is required.
Applicants must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Applications are only accepted online via the official portal.
All candidates will undergo a screening process, including aptitude or skill tests. Selection is based on performance and available slots.

Program Duration & Benefits

Chevron’s internship runs for a minimum of 3 months and up to 12 months for undergraduate and Master’s level participants. Doctoral-level internships may last up to 24 months.
