 About the Warwick Chancellor’s International Scholarships

Each year, the University of Warwick invests over £5 million in supporting world-leading research through the Chancellor’s International Scholarships.

For the 2026/27 academic year, up to 42 scholarships will be awarded to top-performing PhD candidates from any discipline who demonstrate exceptional academic potential and a passion for impactful research.

The program aims to attract innovative thinkers from around the globe, enriching Warwick’s international research environment and contributing to the university’s mission of academic excellence.

 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the University of Warwick Chancellor’s International Scholarship 2026, applicants must:

• Apply for a PhD program at the University of Warwick to commence in October 2026.
• Be classified as an “Overseas” student for tuition purposes.
• Be applying from any discipline offered at Warwick.
• Meet the doctoral entry requirements for their chosen department.

Note: Scholarships cannot be deferred to the following academic year.

 How to Apply for the University of Warwick Chancellor’s Scholarship 2026

To apply for the Warwick Chancellor’s International Scholarship, follow these simple steps:

1. Read the Applicant Guidance Notes and PGR Ranking Criteria available on the official website.

2. Submit your PhD application and upload all required supporting documents.

3. After submission, you’ll receive a 7-digit applicant ID number via email (within 48 hours).

4. Register for your ITS applicant account using your ID number.

5. Complete and submit your scholarship application before December 11, 2025.

6. Submit all supporting documents by the document deadline (to be announced).

7. Wait for the results announcement in March 2026.
