About the Forum
The scholarship is Organized by the Canadian Center for Cultural Diplomacy (CCCD) in partnership with regional and global stakeholders, the forum centers around the theme:
Digital Soft Power and Cultural Diplomacy in the Age of Algorithms.
This high-level gathering brings together thought leaders, policymakers, digital professionals, academics, and cultural practitioners to engage in critical discourse on the interplay between digital technology, global influence, and cultural identity.
Participants will explore how digital platforms shape narratives, foster intercultural dialogue, and redefine international relations in the 21st century.
Eligibility
To qualify, applicants must:
Be 18 years or older (no upper age limit).
Be students or professionals in fields such as:
- International Relations, Diplomacy, Communication, Media, Cultural Studies, Arts, Technology, or other related disciplines.
- Have a basic command of English (spoken/written).
Show interest or involvement in: - Digital diplomacy, soft power, intercultural dialogue, public diplomacy, or tech-based social initiatives.
- Submit a motivation statement expressing why they wish to attend.
- Be willing to implement knowledge gained and share insights in their communities or workplaces.
- Past participation in forums, volunteer work, digital storytelling, or social media campaigns is considered a plus.
Fellowship Benefits
- 10 Fully Funded Seats: Including roundtrip airfare, accommodation, meals, and full forum access.
- 20 Partially Funded Seats: Covering accommodation and forum access only.
Selection Process
