Ashesi-ETH Master’s Scholarship 2026 – Study in Switzerland & Ghana / Fully Funded

Applications are now open for the 4th cohort of the Ashesi-ETH Master’s in Mechatronic Engineering, a unique graduate program jointly offered by Ashesi University (Ghana) and ETH Zurich (Switzerland).

This fully funded scholarship provides a life-changing opportunity for aspiring African engineers to gain world-class education across two continents.

About the Ashesi-ETH Master’s Program

Launched in January 2022, this collaborative Master’s program in Mechatronic Engineering has already enrolled 40 students from 7 African nations. Courses are delivered in modular blocks by faculty from both ETH Zurich and Ashesi, offering rich academic and cultural exchange.

The program is supported by strong partnerships with industry leaders and includes in-person visits, project collaborations, and networking opportunities.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the 2026 intake, you must:

• Be a citizen of an African country

• Hold a BSc or MSc in any of the following fields:

  • Electrical, Electronic, Computer, Mechanical, Process, or Mechatronics Engineering

• Have at least a Second Class Upper division or equivalent

• Be proficient in English (no IELTS required)

What the Scholarship Covers

Successful applicants will receive:
