About the 2025 NLNG Post Primary Scholarship
As part of its commitment to community development and educational empowerment, NLNG invites bright Basic Six students enrolled in public primary schools within its host communities to apply for this scholarship and the program especially encourages applications from Persons Living with Disabilities (PLWDs).
Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria)
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be indigenes of an NLNG host community in Rivers State.
Currently be in Basic Six in a public primary school in Rivers State. - Be aged 12 or below.
- Not be receiving any other scholarship, bursary, or grant.
- Not be related to an NLNG employee (spouse, child, ward, or direct relation).
- Have provisional admission into any of these NLNG partner secondary schools:
-Hallel College (Boarding), Rukpokwu, Port Harcourt
-Archdeacon Brown Secondary School, Woji, Port Harcourt
-Christie Toby Education Center, Iriebe
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants will receive full financial support for their secondary education, including tuition, fees, and related expenses.
Documents You’ll Need
To apply, prepare the following:
- Result sheets from Basic 4, 5, and 6
- Attestation letter from your school’s Headteacher (with contact details)
- Proof of indigene status (signed by the CDC Chairman or a community chief)
- Local Government Identification Letter
- A recent passport photo (without glasses, taken from January 2025 onward)
- Birth Certificate from the National Population Commission (NPC)
