Program Details
The BCDI 2030 Scholarship is an eight-year initiative (2022-2030) designed to bridge educational gaps and foster economic growth in developing nations. By offering financial support to approximately 600 scholars, the program prioritizes inclusivity, with at least 51% of recipients being women.
Graduates of the program will gain valuable skills, knowledge, and international exposure, empowering them to create meaningful change in their home countries upon completion of their studies.
Eligibility Criteria
Unlike traditional scholarships, eligibility for BCDI 2030 is not determined individually but rather through a collaborative partnership between a Canadian higher education institution (HEI) and an HEI from one of the 26 eligible countries.
To qualify, applicants must:

- Meet the admission criteria of both the Canadian HEI and their home country’s HEI.
