In its continued commitment to advancing education and human capital development, NLNG invites applications from first-year students in the 2025/2026 academic session for the 2026 Undergraduate Scholarship Award.

The initiative supports brilliant first-year students in Nigerian universities by providing financial aid that helps them excel academically and prepare for impactful careers.
NLNG also ensures inclusiveness and encourages applications from Persons Living with Disabilities (PLWDs).

 Eligibility Requirements for NLNG Scholarship 2026

To qualify for the  Scholarship, applicants must:

• Be a Nigerian citizen residing in Nigeria.
• Be a full-time first-year student in the 2025/2026 academic session at a federal or state-owned Nigerian university.
• Possess five O-Level credits in one sitting, including Mathematics and English (WASSCE, SSCE, or NECO).
• Be 18–25 years old at the time of application.
• Not be receiving any other scholarship or academic grant.
• Not be a spouse, child, ward, or direct relative of NLNG staff.

• Completed Application Form
• Recent passport photograph (white background, max 3 months old — 450×450px, not more than 200kb)
• O-Level and UTME results
• University & JAMB Admission Letters
• University Student ID Card
• Birth Certificate from National Population Commission
• Local Government Area (LGA) Identification Letter
• National Identification Number (NIN) Slip
