Northern Michigan University is recruiting a Graduate/Master’s student to join the Energetics Lab for a research project titled:
“Seasonal Changes of the Cardiac Proteome and Heart Functionality During Winter Hibernation.”
The program begins Fall 2026 and is a collaboration between:
Dr. Sylvain Giroud, Assistant Professor, Northern Michigan University (USA)
Dr. Fabrice Bertile, Researcher, CNRS Strasbourg (France)
The project focuses on examining how cardiac functionality and proteome composition change during winter hibernation in small hibernating species.
