About the NNPC-Renaissance JV University Scholarship

The NNPC-Renaissance Joint Venture Scholarship 2025 is part of a corporate social responsibility initiative carefully planned to promote academic excellence and build the capacity of young Nigerians.

The scholarship which is administered by Renaissance Energy in partnership with NNPC, TotalEnergies, and AENR, the scholarship supports full-time undergraduate students enrolled in accredited Nigerian universities.

It is categorized into two major awards:

National Merit Award (NM):

1. Open to all eligible Nigerian students, regardless of state of origin.

2. Areas of Operation Merit Award:

Open to students who are indigenes of Renaissance’s operational areas
Bayelsa, Delta, Imo, and Rivers States.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the  NNPC Renaissance Scholarship 2025, applicants must:

• Be a citizen of Nigeria.
•  Be a full-time undergraduate student in a recognized Nigerian university.
•  Be currently in 200 level and admitted during the 2023/2024 academic session.
• Not be receiving any other scholarship from oil and gas organizations (local or international).

Scholarship Benefits

Successful candidates will receive a ₦200,000 annual grant, renewable each year until the completion of their undergraduate studies, subject to academic performance and compliance with scholarship terms.

Required Documents for Application

Applicants must upload clear, recent, and properly named documents (each under 200KB in JPEG format) including:

•  Recent passport photo (white background, max 3 months old – 450x450px)
• Valid student ID card
•  JAMB Result (UTME or Direct Entry)
•  University or JAMB admission letter
•  100 level academic transcript (2023/2024 result)
• Letter of Identification from LGA/State of Origin

For Operational Area Merit Award applicants:

•  Identification letter from Paramount Ruler of the community
•  Letter from the Community Development Committee (CDC) or Community Executive Council (CEC)
• Letters must be signed and stamped
