CDCFIB postpones recruitment into immigration, civil defence, others.Recruitment Portal Opening Rescheduled to July 14, 2025.
The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially announced a change in the scheduled date for the commencement of its 2025 recruitment exercise.
In a public statement issued on June 25, 2025, the CDCFIB revealed that the online application portal originally set to open on Thursday, June 26, 2025—will now open on Monday, July 14, 2025.
The Board has also updated its official recruitment portal address to:
recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng
This announcement is crucial for all Nigerians seeking to apply for positions in the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Correctional Service, Federal Fire Service, or the Nigeria Immigration Service.

The Board expressed regret for any inconvenience the changes may have caused and reaffirmed its commitment to a transparent and accessible recruitment process.

General Requirements for All Applicants
- Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
- Age: 18 to 35 years.
- Must be physically and mentally fit.
- Must be of good character with no criminal record.
- Male applicants: Minimum height of 1.65m; Female applicants: Minimum height of 1.60m.
- Chest measurement (men only): Minimum 0.87m.
Applicants must:
- Log in and fill out the application form online.
- Apply for only one of the four services.
- Submit their form within 3 weeks from the date of publication.
