About the Program
This initiative is coordinated by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) under the Federal Ministry of Education, aiming to standardize and scale up technical and vocational training across Nigeria by accrediting and supporting qualified trainers.
Eligibility
1. Mastercraft Persons
- Must have CAC or NIN registration
- Use NSQ-based curricula
- At least one skilled senior artisan per training program
- Must have necessary facilities (workshops, restrooms, etc.)
- Proven record of conducting training programs and awarding certifications
2. Vocational Enterprise Institutions (VEIs)
- Registered with CAC
- NSQ-aligned curriculum
- One qualified instructor per 40 trainees
- At least one QAA and one certified IQAM per trade
- Equipped with required infrastructure
- Documented training history
3. Skill Training Centres (STCs)
- CAC registration
- NSQ-aligned curriculum
- At least one experienced artisan/instructor with NSQ Level 3 or higher
- One QAA and IQAM per trade
- Must have sufficient technical/support personnel
- Functional physical training infrastructure
- Proven training track record
