Job Role: Remote Communications/Community Coordinator

Successful applicant will lead the creation of survivor-centered content that empowers, educates, and connects a diverse global audience. From crafting impactful posts to engaging with online communities, you’ll help build a digital space of support and healing for survivors worldwide.

Responsibility 

As a Remote Communications/Community Coordinator (social media) you are to perform the following duties:

• Create meaningful content for Chayn’s social media channels—think thoughtful posts, supportive messages, engaging graphics, and videos tailored to survivors.
• Foster community, respond to followers, and nurture safe, empowering online spaces.
• Connect globally—craft inclusive messaging that resonates across cultures and regions.
• Collaborate with a passionate, remote-first team to align on strategy and voice.
• Track impact through engagement analytics and continuously refine content strategies.

Qualities

To apply for the role of a Remote Communications/Community Coordinator you must possess the following:

• Have experience managing social media or working in a communications role.
• Deeply values survivor-centered advocacy and gender justice.
• Brings a global mindset and cultural sensitivity to their work.

• Communicates clearly and compassionately—fluency in English is essential, other languages a plus.
