Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the FAO Internship Program 2025, applicants must:
- Be enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program at a recognized university.
- Specialize in a field related to FAO’s mission, such as agriculture, food security, rural development, or related areas.
- Have working knowledge of at least one FAO official language (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, or Spanish). Knowledge of a second FAO language is an advantage.
- Be a citizen of an FAO Member Nation.
- Be aged between 21 and 30 at the time of application.
- Be able to adapt to a multicultural work environment and possess strong communication skills.
- Have the necessary residence or immigration status in the assigned duty station before the internship begins.
- Not have any immediate family members (parents, siblings) employed by FAO.
